What an organization's owner, manager, staff, cashier and door staff can do in the console.

Who can: owner, manager, staff, cashier, door staff

Roles

RoleWho it is
OwnerRuns the organization: team, profile, payments, refunds. The Tanu team names the first owner when it creates the organization. There can be several owners, but at least one must stay.
ManagerPrepares and sells events: events, series, prices, venues, customers and analytics.
StaffWorks at the event: sees events and orders, scans tickets at the door.
CashierWorks at the cash desk on a phone: marks the tickets sold by their numbers on the Cash desk screen and scans tickets at the door. The rest of the console stays hidden. After signing in they land on the Cash desk.
Door staffOnly checks tickets at the door: sees the event list and the scanner, nothing else. After signing in they land on Check-in.

The owner gives the role when inviting a person to the team and can change it in Settings → Team.

Door staff and cashiers see no console menu. Door staff get only Check-in; a cashier gets Cash desk and Scanner at the top of the screen. Any other console page looks like it does not exist for them.

On the Cash desk a cashier picks the event, types the numbers of the tickets sold (for example «12, 15–18») and the receipt number, checks the seats and taps Mark as sold. A wrong mark is undone right there. A mark does not change admission: an unsold box office ticket gets in too.
